Made with almond flour, a hint of lemon zest, and filled with your favorite jam — these adorable ghost-shaped Linzer cookies are as delicious as they are cute. No special cutters needed — just a heart-shaped cutter and a piping tip to make the ghostly faces!
Recipe
Ingredients
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 cup almond flour
• ¾ tsp salt
• 1 cup unsalted butter
• ⅔ cup sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 egg
• Zest of 1 lemon
• Powdered sugar, for dusting
• Any flavor of jam, for filling
Method
1️⃣ In a bowl, mix together all-purpose flour, almond flour, and salt.
2️⃣ In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
3️⃣ Add vanilla, lemon zest, and egg to the butter mixture — mix well.
4️⃣ Gradually add the dry ingredients and combine to form a dough.
5️⃣ Divide the dough into two discs, wrap, and chill for 30 minutes.
6️⃣ Roll out dough and cut with a heart-shaped cutter — use a piping tip to make ghost eyes/mouth.
7️⃣ Bake at 175°C (350°F) for 10–12 minutes or until lightly golden.
8️⃣ Once cooled, spread jam on the base cookies and sandwich with the cut-out tops.
9️⃣ Dust with powdered sugar for that perfect ghostly glow!
