Pumpkin tutti frutti flower buns
These cute soft pumpkin flower buns are truly spectacular looking and easy to make once you get the hang of how to shape them. Filled with tutti frutti, these delicious buns can be served anytime with a cup of tea.

Recipe
For dough
1/2 cup warm milk
2 tsp active dry yeast
1/4 cup unsalted butter softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 and 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
2 tbsp oil
1/4 cup tutti frutti
Preparation
In warm milk add sugar and yeast and let it ferment for 10 min.
-In another bowl add flour and salt.
- Add the yeast mix, pumpkin puree and knead the dough.
-Add butter and knead again.
-Add oil and knead again till dough turns out soft.
- Apply oil in hands and roll it over the dough.
-Cover and let it rise for 2 hrs.
-Add tutti frutti to the dough and knead again.
-Shape it into round buns .Then cut the edges leaving the centre entact. Twist the edges into same direction to form a flower and let it rise again for half an hour.
- Brush the buns with milk.
-Bake them in a preheated oven at 180 deg for 18 to 20 mins or until they turn golden brown.
- Brush them with butter.
- Serve hot with a glass of milk or a cup of tea.
