Mango Shrikhand

Mango Shrikhand  is a popular Indian dessert made using yogurt and mango puree. This smooth, creamy and delectable dish is  refreshing and easy to make. 
Recipe
Ingredients
-500 gm plain yogurt (curd) 
-½ cup mango puree 
-¼ cup powdered sugar
-½ tsp ground cardamom
-1 pinch saffron strands

Instructions
1.Keep a strainer over a large bowl and line it with a muslin cloth.
2.Transfer plain yogurt to the strainer and tie the cloth into a bundle. 
3.Keep the bowl in the refrigerator for few hours till the liquid from the yogurt is removed  making it thick and creamy. 
4.Transfer the thickened yogurt to a medium mixing bowl and whisk well until smooth and creamy.
5.Add mango puree, cardamom, saffron strands, and sugar to the bowl and mix well until combined.
6.Refrigerate the mango shrikhand for a few hours. Garnish with mango pieces and dry fruits. Serve chilled.
