Pumpkin buns
There is nothing better than the combination of sweet pumpkin with cinnamon. Made these adorable soft flavourful buns using homemade pumpkin puree. They are a perfect treat for the fall season and are served best with a hot cup of tea or soup.

Ingredients
1/2cup warm milk
2 tsp active dry yeast
1 tbsp honey
3 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup pumpkin puree
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp cinnamon powder
Method
-In a bowl combine warm milk, yeast, honey and stir.
-In another bowl add flour and salt. Add the yeast mix, pumpkin puree, cinnamon powder and melted butter.
-Stir with spoon until a sticky dough forms.
-Knead the dough until smooth adding more flour as needed.
-Transfer dough to a greased bowl, cover and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, for about 2-3 hours.
-Take out the risen dough and divide into 8 equal parts and roll each into circular balls.
-Place 6 pieces of string on the surface.Crisscross strings over a center point into a star shape. -Tie each string into a knot over the center of the roll.
-Place rolls on a baking sheet and let it rise again for about 30 minutes.
-Brush the buns with egg wash or milk.
-Bake it in a preheated oven at 180 deg for 20 to 25 minutes.
-Remove from the oven and let cool.
- Cut strings of each bun at the tops and peel down carefully and slowly to remove. Cut a small hole in the tops of each roll and put stems into each hole.
-Transfer pumpkin rolls to a serving platter.
