Boondi Raita

Boondi raita is a relish made using yogurt, boondi and ground spices. This delicious side dish is generally served with biryani, pulao, parathas or any other Indian main dish. It is very simple and easy to make. 


Ingredients
Boondi- 1/2 cup
Yogurt- 11/2 cup
Roasted cumin powder- 1/2 tsp
Chaat masala- 1/4 tsp
Salt- 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder- 1/2 tsp

Method
1.Take curd in a bowl and whisk till smooth and creamy. 
2.Add all spices to the curd and mix with a spoon. 
3.Add boondi to the curd and mix well. Check seasoning as per your taste. 
4.Transfer the raita to a serving bowl and  decorate it with red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder and chaat masala. 
Serve the raita chilled with biryani, pulao, roti or with any main dish. 

Use fresh curd for raita. 
- You can also soak the boondi in lukewarm water for 5 minutes, stain and then add to the raita. 
- The quality of raita can be doubled or tripled also. 
- You can adjust the seasoning as per your taste.
