Mooli ka paratha
Mooli ka Paratha
Mooli ka Paratha is a traditional Punjabi dish made using wholewheat flour, radish and spices. Here the wheat flour dough is rolled into flatbread and filled with spiced radish dressing. These parathas are often made for breakfast and make a delicious meal accompanied by curd, butter and pickle.
I love mooli ka paratha a lot and try to make it quite often in winters. I had a small kitchen garden in my backyard and have grown few vegetables there. Radish is one of them. The produce of my radish was awesome and they were so juicy. Due to this also I consumed a lot of mooli parathas this winter.
It is quite easy to make and is very fulfilling. If you have stuffed the parathas nicely then you don't need to have lunch.
Radishes are rich in antioxidants and minerals like calcium and potassium. Together, these nutrients help lower high blood pressure and reduce the risks for heart disease. Radish is also a good source of natural nitrates that improves blood flow.
