HONEY CHILLY POTATO


Honey chilly potato is a very popular indo Chinese snack.It has a very crunchy, juicy and flavourful taste that can't be resisted. It is very popular among kids on all occasions.

Honey chilly potato is made with deep fried potatoes coated with chilli sauce, honey and sesame seeds. Spring onions can also be added to enhance its flavour.

RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
4  potatoes(peeled and sliced)
3 tbsp maida
To taste salt
2 tsp chilli powder
Oil for frying

For base
1 onion sliced
1 capsicum sliced
1 tsp garlic paste
2 tbsp honey
1 tsp sesame seeds
1 tbsp oil
2 tbsp tomato sauce
1 tsp chilli sauce
To taste salt
1 pouch Maggi masala ae magic

INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a bowl add maida, salt and chilli powder and mix.
2. Add the sliced potatoes and mix until the potatoes are coated well.
3. Heat oil in a pan.
4. Fry the coated potatoes till golden brown. Keep aside.
5.To prepare base, in another pan heat oil and add garlic paste and onions and saute on high flame.
6.Then add capsicum and saute for a minute.
7.Add tomato sauce, chilli sauce, salt, maggi masala, honey and mix well.
8.Now add the fried potatoes and mix well until the sauce coats the potatoes.
9. Sprinkle sesame seeds over it and serve hot.
