TORTILLAS
A tortilla is a type of thin flat bread made from cornmeal flour or wheat flour.
The simplest recipes use only flour, water, oil, and salt, but generally flour tortillas contain baking powder.
RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
2 cups wholewheat flour
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
2 tsp oil
Water
INSTRUCTIONS
1.In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt and oil. Mix well.
2.Add water and knead into a soft dough.
3.keep aside for 10 minutes.
4.Divide the dough into 8 to 10 balls depending on the size you want.
5.Roll the balls into thin round tortillas.
6.Heat a pan. Place a tortilla over it and cook till light brown on both sides.
7. Serve hot.
