TACOS
Tacos, a traditional Mexican dish which consists of taco shells with a
filling is an amazing dish served in dinner and is healthy too as it
consists of lots of vegetables.
The crispy and crunchy taco shells make it more delicious. Fill the taco shells
with baked beans, chopped cabbage, salsa and cheese and enjoy it. You can also
add the filling of your choice. My kids simply love this.
RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
10 taco shells
2 cups boiled kidney beans
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
2 chopped onions
1 chopped capsicum
2 tomatoes puree
1 tsp salt
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
2 tbsp tomato sauce
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp oil
Taco topping
salsa
chopped cabbage
grated cheese
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Heat oil in a pan. Add ginger garlic paste.
2. Add onions and saute till they turn golden brown.
3. Add the chopped capsicum and cook for some time.
4. Add tomato puree, salt, red chilli and coriander powder and mix.
5. Now add tomato sauce and cook again.
6. Add the boiled kidney beans and mix properly.
7. Add water and let it cook for 2 minutes.
8. Mash the beans lightly(not fully) and add oregano.
9. Remove from flame.
10. Take taco shells. Add cabbage leaves at the bottom.Then add the baked
beans, salsa and top it with grated cheese.
11.Serve hot with any dip of your liking.
